In January of 1994, Rev. Amos J. Malone was called to pastor the Macedonia Baptist Church Family.  He was installed in March of the same year.

The relationship between Rev. Malone and the members of Macedonia has been a continual love affair.  This love affair has brought forth a happy union that no man can put asunder.

Many accomplishments have been made during his fifteen years as pastor.  The Mother’s Board has been re-activated, the A.J. Malone Mass Choir was formed and dedicated in his honor, the Anne Raybon Scholarship Committee was established and continues to provide financial support to members of the congregation and those within the community.  Christians Committed to Changing Our Community was also formed and is actively working to reach out to the physical and spiritual needs of those within the community.  The Building Fund along with the entire congregation is actively working toward the vision of building a new edifice and community center to enhance the worship services and to lead those in the community to Christ.

Since becoming Pastor, Rev. Malone continues to keep the mission of the church as being a Christian establishment seeking to provide guidance to the saved and salvation to the unsaved.  Overall he attempts to spread the message that the wages of sin is still death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 (KJV)
